Louise McCutcheon Free.

Zena Louise McCutcheon Free, daughter of Leftric and Janie B. Ryan McCutcheon, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2007 in Tuscumbia, Alabama.  

Louise was born January 29, 1917, in Morgan County, Alabama.  She was preceded in death by her husband Silas P. Free whom she married in 1940.  Louise and Silas spent the majority of their life in Leighton, Alabama, and Louise worked as an office manager for Dr. John P. Mims for more than twenty years.  

She was active in organizations including the Girl Scouts, Leighton Civic Club, Chief Colbert Chapter of the DAR, and Friends of the Leighton Library.   Louise and Silas, along with Louise’s sister Lillie Mae McCutcheon Parker, attended several McCutcheon reunions.  

Louise is survived by her son Jimmy Allan Free, daughter Zena Ann Free Bradford, grandchildren Lily Ann Bradford Rager, Blake Allan Bradford, Jason Edward Free, and Emily Katherine Free.  Surviving great-grandchildren are Grayson Rager, Clark Rager, CoCo Bradford, and Isabel Bradford.
