Mary Virginia Payne McCutchen Birmingham Mary Virginia Payne McCutchen, 94, of Birmingham, formerly of Scottsboro, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2004 in a Birmingham hospital. Funeral services were held Friday, December 24 at 1 p.m. at Scottsboro funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Bates officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Betty McCutchen of Birmingham, a son-in-law, Wayne Goodson of Niceville, Fla.; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. McCutchen was born to her parents, John Will and Mamie Robinson Payne, and raised in Scottsboro. Mrs. McCutchen was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. "Pete" McCutchen, and daughter, Martha Goodson.
